Hare Huntin

Anyone else gonna chase the white fur after christmas?

    Ours aren't white, nor are they rare.  Once we start having daylight in the evenings I'll start shooting hares again.  Over here they are classed as game, but you can also shoot them as crop protection (like rabbits).  IN this immediate area there are tons around as the rabbits haven't gotten here much and there isn't much rabbit like cover.  Over here Hare thrive in BIG open fields where they can see you coming a long way off.  They are more like a pronghorn in that they can see you coming a long way off and use their speed as defense.

    I used to chase the "white fur" year round. But I'm getting old, and the young ones tend to shave any more.
