wv fishes great all year, they pretty much stock it all year long, nov and dec i think are the only months they dont stock it. i fish all over wv, pull my camper from va, and mostly use the generator and stream water to live off of, good times. also check out glady fork, bemis, shavers fork, and gandy creek. spruce knob is a great lake to fish and can be ice fished if you can brave the elements. i will pm you the website for wv,md,va trout fishing.

One thing i find interesting about how they sotck is that they do it by railroad car. Thats what they do near Elkins.

I love the N. Br. of the Potamac............fished it weekly while going to college in Garrett County Maryland........the Barnum area is beautiful..........once I pulled into Barnum--a dirt road at the time....and 8/9 cars that were parked there had PA plates!!!   that was crazy................what a beautiful area

Is the little shop still there?

for streams you have Shavers fork and all its tribs, it is actually the river in bemis, you can catch a train at bowden and it will drop you in bemis then you can fish back to bowden. there is glady fork, it always has fish, dry fork, very nice small stream, gandy, also very nice small stream (only gets stocked with brookies)

I would be in..... there is a place with rooms right in the heart of it all. its called alpine Lodge in Alpeena. I know the owner, so if we get a good amount of people to go, we could probably get a deal. there is a bar and resteraunt right there, a cabin that sleeps 4 to 6, and rooms with 2 queen beds. it isnt very expensive, but we would need to schedule soon, they start stocking march first every week. they have stocked it once so far and will stock it again in feb. keep me posted, i can take you guys to a bunch of good spots. i will also invite some other folks i know to help out
