My 2008 Recap ...

Here is a little recap of my 2008 fishing season.

Started with some ice fishing in Jan-Mar, onto Stripers Apr-May, than i targeted bass right through the summer & fall.

Had a great time meeting and fishing with a bunch of great guys from the site.

Looking forward to seeing you guys on the up coming ice season !!

Nice slideshow Brian.. man 6.5lb is impressive for up north. I haven't persued LGB  in years, remind me to bring my rebel pop'rs up for next season! Last few LGB around 5lbs. i caught and released was over hardwater in suffern ny last season jigging for perch. I will take open top water bass anyday of the year!

    Sweet Brian!!!!

    Those lakers look awesome...

Looks like some serious bass came out of one of my favorite old childhood fishing haunts in Scotia too...  The church on the hillside in the background betrays the location :)

As for 'Lunkerville', I can't seem to find it on MapQuest...  Hmmmm.....

Sweet pics, man...  it was great to meet you (and ALL you guys!) this season, and I am looking forward to more fun on the hard stuff this winter.  Can't be long now!!!  The ponds in Renn County are frozen, and my lake has dropped to 37 degrees...  If the winds stay down and the temps stay low, I could have some skim ice by the weekend...

Can't wait to see what comes to hand in 2009!!!
