What to do when a your fishing buddy leaves you?
A dear, dear friend of the chrome commandos has decided to leave the nest of the chrome commandos and fish with his other buddies. For years myself and TB have shown him the way, taken him under our wings and provided him with the much needed knowledge to catch Erie Steel. Now after sharing our knowledge with him he has decided this other buddies are more important to him. The long and short of it was he rented a cabin and didn't include us and basically told us we are on our own. What should we do? I'm not concerned because of everything we taught him he usually just **** jacks the fish anyway.

Been there, done that! Good friends are hard to find, so keep the ones you have close and never teach them what you know..

dust off your sandals and tell him take care. it is difficult to find a good fishing partner; someone that is ready to leave when you want to, ready to move to a different area when you are ready to, just a fishing partner that you are in tune with. sounds like you have one already.

Nice Marty. But why not just take his new fishing partner instead. Stealing a woman may get ya hurt or it may get you alot of praise from the guy for getting her off his hands. lol
CC just move on!!!!!!! Must be a dirtbag if he didn't include you in his trip. Or related to some of my buddies from Smithton.

do what i did when my friend did that to me.... I created my own future fishing buddy until hes ready to go i say all the more fish for me lol
its always great to fish with someone else.... someone to hold the camera but i find fishing alone is the best.
