Erie fisherman, beware was deleted!

The thread was deleted due to rude and racial remarks.
This kind of thing WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

Enough is enough guys and girls...If you can't follow a few simple rules, I will see that your priviledges from viewing this board will be taken from you.

I moderate this board because I have loved reading it for years. And every year it's the same BS! If you don't like what somebody has to say and you can NOT stop yourself for posting something something rude than maybe you are not cut out for a public forum user. So please just move on to a differant website and leave this one to the people who actually enjoy spending some time talkin fishin'.

And another thing....if somebody ask a question, but you are such a good angler and a "know it all" maybe you should try to answer the question instead of pointing out how stupid of a question it is..

Also, we are ALL getting really tired of the pages upon pages of crap that we have to read through to get back to the original topic that the poster posted. If it doens't have to do with anything that the thread is about, DON'T POST IT! DO NOT DERAIL THE THREAD! Instead, start a new one!

Last but not least.....If your thread has nothing to do with fishing in erie than DO NOT POST IT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think before you post, please!
Im getting tired of it REALLY FAST! My finger is on the delete button so don't even waste your time posting something that isn't suppose to be posted or IT WILL BE DELETED faster than you can click the "view post" tab!

It's too bad the whole thread had to be zapped because I'm sure a few folks would have liked to further discuss the legality of keeping or releasing the fish caught by the original poster.

I fully understand that you don't have the time to individually delete offensive posts.

I don't envy your job as a mod.

    So...
I understand (and read) the post that got this started...

But, i think some of the joking and funny posts are what makes this board what it is....

Are you suggesting there will be no more humorous posts in topics that are serious?

not trying to be a smartas$ (seriously)
i just want to know the expectations

    OR
is this a common sense thing and people just need to know there is a line... and not to cross it?

I just want people to do and say the same things they would say if we were gathered in a room face to face.

    If it's rude....DONT SAY IT!

If it possibly could offend another(unless is aimed at Skip16503)....DON'T SAY IT!

If it is a racial remark....DON'T SAY IT!

If it's funny, but doesnt fall with those three things....than SAY IT!!

Common sence just ain't that common anymore!

so mike you're saying if I catch a stringer full or monkeys (well orangutang) that was floating down the stream and skip was chasing after them with a paddle, I can keep it or do i have to release them?  I'm confused.

No sir i wasnt being neg...yes I read other thread today & wasnt nothn that I havent read nor seen here for last few months.Just staff publicly sayin they dont have patience isnt to professional.Sry you feel I'm a spammer, but you are wrong my friend.Have a good day!!

..All mods here do not get paied so they are not staff, more like volunteers...I personaly have no issues with a mod doing a full delete of a post as some of the bad posts it would take hrs and hrs to edit them entirely while the posters just messed the post up even more complaining about what was edited or deleted. When a post gets way out of hand best answer is a full delete.
