No, that monkey speared it, then I traded the monkey a bunch of bananas for the carp, and I'm taken credit for it.  Actually I caught it on a hook................................................... attached to line spooled on a spinning reel mounted to a spinning rod. Landing that thing on a flyrod would of been a tall feat, where I pulled it from. Would of been an ideal way to hook up with the hog though, the way it was feedin'. Fighting it on a flyrod (I've caught a few smaller carp on a flyrod in the past) would of been a blast I'm sure. Landin' it would of been a real challenge tho I think.
