nice buck

This fella shot this nice 8 point tonight on one of our leases...I was a 1/4 mile away..Just my luck..

The buck was trailing a doe hard..Nose to the ground and on a steady pace....Mabee they'll start chasing and the action will pick up...
 
jlh, I could cut off all the antlers I've seen this year and couldn't make a shooter rack if I glued them all together..
 
So far I've seen about a dozen doe, half a dozen scrubbers,and about 15 straw hats...Loosing battle here...
