shenango

was bass fishing today, only caught one, saw a bowfin close to shore. At first I thought it was a carp till I saw that long fin on the back. Has anyone else seen one there? I was sure suprised.

    Hi all! Would like to head to Shenango tomorrow (Monday). Can anyone please steer me in the right direction??? Weeks ago I was having good success drifting through the Celery Farm with bait down 4-6ft. However the last time I was up there a couple weeks ago it was loaded with carp, no crappies. Should I forget Shenango and just head to Pymy and drift the stumps??? Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks guys!

    If you want crappie you better holler for chauncy. He,s the crappie king.

    He certainly seems to be!  Hate to bother the man though.  Met him briefly in passing at Shenango last year and seemed like a very good man.  Have to admire someone that is willing to share his successes so someone else has a better chance of enjoying themselves...rarely occurs!
