anyone know a good spot for panfish on the lake

    Try arounf the docks and brush piles up toward Maryland.  I know they were cathing crappies up near where the River runs into the lake.  Hope this helps.

    Can you drive to where the river runs into the lake... or is boat the only access ?   How far from 40 bridge is it ?

    Boat is the only way i know of but I think you can get down to the river somewhere in Maryland.  Have seen people on shore down there just dont know how they made it down.
     
    From the 40 bridge it is a good ways to get to where the river comes into the lake.  I would say about 3 miles but I am not real sure on the mileage.

    If you take the road from addison to friendsville going south there is a couple of houses with a church on the right hand side and a road goes down to the lake. I don't think there is much room there but i have seen people fish from shore there. I can't remember the name of the place but it might be selbysport? My lake map is in the boat.
