This morning's hunt

Wind never stopped again. Did have Momma doe and little one walk by me at 7:30(about 20 yards). At about 8 I saw a mature doe eye balling me about 60 yards away. Now if I could just start to see the bucks! They are working their scapes, must be at night(I even tried a scent drag). Sick of this wind, going to have some family time tonight. A guy told me he got a nice 8 point last night, with his car!  Good Luck!!!

you can take a good buck on those windy days from a stand...get a big spray bottle, put 2 small bottles of your favorite doe urine in it. dilute it something like half to 3/4 so you have a lot, but still not to water'd down....spray the crap out of the area all around your stand..not the ground but all the little bushes and shrubs....wind will do it's job then all you have to do is put a good shot on him.

It wasn't all that windy here, but the deer decided to stay home today.  At my home.  They hung out in my yard while I was out in the woods hunting for them.  According to my wife, anyway.
