Blue Gills are starting to hit

The blue gill seem to be starting to heat up a little bit.  This is from Tuesday evening.  We got around 120 or so of them.  Lots of fun on a 4' ultra light.

    Looks like lunch, might get out to a farm pond this weekend myself, have a good weekend.

        Fished Arthur this morn., planned on getting a bunch for bait but the crappie kept gettin in the way  Gotta go hit a few spots for chubs & gills this weekend for cattin.

    Yes they are Chauncy.  Talked to Todd last Wednesday and he told me that they were "getting them".

    I would say not bad for being out for 3 hours both days and yes we threw a lot back.

    Matt is correct they are from CL.  We also caught a couple crappie.  Teh one day we were out, with no minnies of course, you could see hundreds of crappie up near the surface just outside of where we were fishing.  Could only get a couple to hit though.  The gills are a lot of fun to catch though

    They were on Conneaut Lake.  Have not been back out since though.  Way to busy sat work.
