Looking for feedback on Streambuddy

I purchased one last year  www.streambuddy.net and am curious as to who else had purchased one and how you liked it???

    Skip: I really thought hard about buying one when he had a 2 for 1 sale a while ago to try and save my back but still haven't done so. What do you have to say about the product? My main use would be when fishing in local lakes here which have a mud bottom. Would it sink it the mud to far to be effective?

    Dave  I purchased 2 from Jmiller the owner of Streambuddy last year before Christmas.   I sent one to the Cripp but he couldn't use it and brought it back on one of his trips to Erie .  I have used mine probably 6 times but it has been nothing but trouble.  It does sink in mud  it slips off rocks.   I contacted him about 3 months ago about the problem and he told me he would machine a new bottom with spikes in it to hold better.  I told him I was in no super hurry but when I didn't hear from him I just sent him an email requesting a refund but he denied that also...
     
    I guess his site is down so I guess he went out of business
     
    My opinion  it was a lesson learned

    Ah hem!  I "won" one that was donated to the PSA, and I'm still waiting for the wheel and pedals to arrive.
