Hi Guys - Long Time No Speak

I just wanted to drop in and say hi. Its been a long time since I logged in. Responsibilities have me swamped daily. I took a job outside of town which involves two hours of commuting every day.

Bought myself two new motorcycles ('07 cbr600rr, '07 crf50), yeah a 50! Boy is that thing a fun little toy. I havent fished a whole lot but now that its cooling down Ill be more active. The streams here have been low.

Oh, anyone whos phone number i had i no longer have. Fiance sent my phone through the washer and I now have verizon instead of sprint. Look on my site for my number and call me...Dan...Jon, whoever.

Ran into Chris last night, meeting up to fish friday at my moms house. Should be there around five if anyone cares to join.

Cant wait for archery season, steelies, fall trout. Its been a busy past six months. I probably wont be back on frequently, not like I used to till prob this winter. Keep in touch guys.

Welcome back Jeremy.  Milesburg in the house.  How about a sayers update?  Did those zillions of crappies we were all catching that were 8 7/8th grow that last little bit.  A fryer batch would be nice.

I almost hope that you ride those bikes to work sometimes. . .a 4 hr total daily commute could get expensive otherwise!

The crappies are small, next year should be good.

Yeah, i rode the bike a lot while i could, its a little brisk now.

    2hrs... 1 hr each way.

If your looking for big crappies troll cranks deep in the summer. I pulled some monsters out.

Jeremy is more of a sucker fisherman than a crappie fisherman. Here's the proof:

    Sorry Jeremy....I just couldn't resist.

Everybody has to be good at something!  Jeremy has once or twice mentioned that he catches many a sucker!

Thanks for the trolling advice.  I have decided to really hit the lakes this season instead of hunting.  I will share my success or dismay right on this forum!

Jeremy- It is supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon.  As long as it isn't too bad I will try to fish.  I will give you a call sometime after 5 and let you know for sure.

    Hi Jeremy
Is that green back big bucks or the heavily antlered big bucks or both?     lol
My nephew lived in Idaho for awhile.  He said the trout streams were full of fish and no one fishing them.    Can't find that around here.

The only thing better than 1 day of fishing is 2 days of fishing.

    J,

Would you really give up wild trout for big bucks? We've got some big bucks here, but there aren't any wild trout there. Use your head, man!

    Jeremy,

You really need to take Dan back under your wing on the sucker thing.  We fished Spring a couple of weeks ago and all he caught were those pesky trout.  Not one sucker at all.  I was so disappointed.

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion

    You guys are crazy.

No pictures this round, i even had the camera in the truck too.

Dan... im thinking i may head to wisc. Theres lots of self sustaining trout streams there... plus lake mich....

I havent made my mind up yet. We'll see how well we're doing with whats goin here in a couple years. A buddy and I have been talking about opening a fly/archery/upland shop. The upland part would prob come later and I dont know if that dream will become reality but its being discussed.

Hi Jeremy.  I see you got a CBR.  How do you like that bike?  I'm considering either the Honda or the R1 or R6.
