What's up with Selkirk Shores closing October 18th?

    Sat Oct-18th is the last night for camping. They will close for the season on Monday Oct-19th.
     
    They always do every year, nothing new.

    man i haven't been on that concrete pier in almost 25 yrs! wow quarter of a century! I remember fresh out of highschool blasting pinkfloyd frankzappa all my head tunes anticipating  monster salmon trout! Back then, you could use snag hooks anywhere and use to drive down a steep bank along lower estuary huess they call it DSR now and car overnight  waking up freezing like a yellow snowed eskimo! man those were the days! browns steelheads using snag trebles ripping through the mighty salmon runs! lol that's why I stopped going the next ten years lol anyway I like CR and really like to hook into big fast fish! gl all see you later!

    They don't actually close, just the camping part.They also stop charging to enter.
