fly rod for a new child

I want to get a fly rod for my child specially made  as a collectable like with its date of birth and weight engraved on it would anyone know who I could contact about doing something like that?

    There are probably many from this site that i don't know about but i do know cr500 and casts-by-fly both do great work and they could probably build you anything you want. You should be able to get an e-mail address from the members list section here.

    yea I know cast does work  he offered to fix my rods, yea Im just trying to talk to some guys about ideas, I want it to be something thats never used but looked at as a collectable  son or daughter.

    MSO Custom Rods is a member that does some very unusual work including mammoth tusk reel seats.
     
    Casts also does some fine rods.
