LeBoeuf Creeper

I'm new to this whole idea, so bear with me.

I'm looking for an old wooden lure called the LeBoeuf Creeper.  My dad is originally from PA and his father had one of these lures, and it would mean the world if I could find one like it.  I'm told these are hard to find.  I need it to be old, wooden, in good condition, and in the popular green color they came in.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, there's a couple on ebay just like what I'm looking for.
(One of those on ebay says that the orange spot on the bottom of the lure was painted over, so I don't know if it's worth it to bid on the lure or to just wait and see if I can find one somewhere else)  What do you think?

If anyone has one they're willing to sell or know's where I can find one somewhere else, I'd appreciate it if they would respond.  Thanks.

If you found it on ebay then buy it. You will not find hand carved lures anywhere for less than top dollar. Those lures are used for pass on nicknacks now.

I know THE man as far as old lures go, east of the mississippi.  If you are interested in getting a hold of him, let me know.

Wow, last spring I had 4 of these lures withboxes. I found in dads shed.  I sold all four of them seperately on ebay for $65-$85 each and one gentlemen was from right here in pgh that bought it.  Good Luck, wait it out and look for originals with boxes.

This is just a stock photo from the internet.
I posted it to show others what the thread was about.
I had one years ago but my truck was stolen.
That old tackle box was worth a fortune.
