Save some money and go with the Hewes Craft! Here in the Northwest they are the most bang for the buck! I have owned 2 over the years and had no complaints. Hewes is a family owned business and have been around since the 1940s. Most other boat manufactures have either sold or went out of business.

ORIGINAL: fishmax Most other boat manufactures have either sold or went out of business. Like who, and why are people signing up just to promote Hewes boats? Hewes are nice boats but whether they are the most bang for the buck is subjective at best

Like Duckworth, Northriver, Customweld, Weldcraft have all change hands over the years! Idaho Boat Co. and several other welded boat companies are no longer in business. So do your home work before you get SUBJECTIVE

So do your home work before you get SUBJECTIVE Next time you get mouthy with me for asking you to prove your statement, try googling the boat companies you mentioned. Each one is still in business including Idaho! And, for being bought and sold, so what?? Many boat companies, both jet and prop, aluminum and otherwise, are bought and sold each year. Please promote Hewes someplace else and stick your "SUBJECTIVE" where the sun don't shine! [sm=****.gif]

Love this boat! And yes they are still in business and I think you will find it almost impossible to find a better quality boat! And I am only suggesting what boat I would think about!
