pymi

man all these posts about the place but i have another question , was up near jamestown today for panfish , but did notice in many of the cove we stopped was a ton of grass with a ton of potential bass action spots , ,
 
so my question is what is some of you patterns for up there in those conditions , help out if you can , if not i have an idea but just could use the extra help

    I'm not an expert on Pymatuning, but have camped and fished the jamestown area quite a bit and have never had much luck with Bass. I agree that it does look like there is lot of Bassy looking areas, but I don't think there are a lot of Bass in that end of the lake.

    we fished bennett bay last night with little luck.  saw some guys catching crappies though.  as for the south end, it is an excellent smallmouth fisherie.  we hit the points on the ohio side and do quite well throughout the summer and into the fall.  small raps are the ticket here.  a little to the north of jamestown is 41 bay.  we have picked up largemouth around the small islands and into the bay, west of the ramp.
