Question for Chauncy..

Before I forget, nice article in the Trib on Sunday.

Got a question on the "secret" jigs and spoons you use for crappie.  Are they available locally here in the PGH area?  I am heading up to Glendale for the Memorial Day weekend and I would like to give them a try up that way but I am not sure what you are using.  It may be too much of a secret to share on here so if it is, you can shoot me a PM or if you don't want to, that's ok too.

Thanks.

In case he doesn't see this in time. I read he is sponsered by microspoons and believe they have a web site. If not try crappie.com and check state threads for pa. He's mentioned them there before.

It is microspoons.com The people who run that business are great! really. check them out. I have used there stuff from here to minnesota. I have caught crappies, bass, perch, pike, and walleye. The darter jigs that they sell are really good as well. I am not trying to steal chaunces thunder as he is the master with these things. Chaunc, that was a great article by the way. I will see you at shenango this weekend. I just wanted to comment about these spoons and jigs.

Thanks for the help. You guys are alright. E&G, they told you everything you need to know. My favorite color is chartreuse, followed by john deere green. I like the rattle spoons (beadhead). That article told it all. Get some old reliable jigs in your favorite color combos. Dock demons and darts are also good. Favorite spoon size is 1/32 but get some smaller ones too. They dont cost much either. Hope this helps and thanks again for the help.
