Shore Fishin'

How's all the shore fishers doin'? Anyone caught any pike at Thompsons yet? I've caught quite a few nice largemouth at the east pier but thats about it.

    i caught some nice pike today on perch x-raps from shore. i was on the city side of presque isle bay, but the pike are EVERYWHERE.  nothing beats a toothy critter hitting the lure like a freight train.  also caught a dozen or so largies and a couple perch.  8" perch with a 5" lure, go figure.

    In the last week I have cought quite a few smallmouth and a couple steelhead while fishing off a shoal out in front of a lake erie trib.
