Shenango Bass

I have read the numerous reports about the great shenango crappie fishing. Each report notes a few bass being caught large and smalliees. Are the typical depths you guys are crappies fishing a good depth to start looking for Bass. What ypes of lures do they use? I will be in the area for 3 days for a buddies wedding and will have boat in tow. Any help would be appreciated.

    later in the summer I have caught nice bass accidentally on deeper structure, stumps etc near golden run in the old river channel.  Not to sure about now.

    Better too far back, than too far forward.

    hit the rip rap along 18 as well as the river channel on the east side of it
