Pine Pond - Question for NPL2

NPL2 -
What type of bait / lure do you use at this little pond. I like this little place, nice quiet little pond. Caught a couple gill just on a few rooster tails. Any bait of choice up there?

Thanks in advance -

shiners or medium minnows work best. for lures use spinners or spinner baits, minnow baits like rapalas and rubber worms. later in the summer it can get pretty weedy. use the minnows or rubber worms in or over the weeds. a rubber frog will work on top of the weeds to. i believe there is just bass, bluegill and catfish only in there?? and that pond is catch and release only.

north park has marshall lake which yields some nice crappie and bass too and isnt as crowded as north park lake.

there is also potters pond in ingomar if you want directions to that.

Thanks for the great info NPL. There's some nice bass and gill in there that i've seen so far, no cats yet. It's a nice little stop on the way home from work for an hour.
I'm up for trying potters pond as well, not too familiar with the ingomar area.
Fished Marshalls lake a few times, will be going back there most likely in a few weeks or so.

BTW.. I'll take directions for Potter pond, not sure where that is at.

its right off the yellow belt in ingomar on harmony drive. its just a small pond in the woods maintained by mccandless township. from the yellow belt turn onto harmony road and go half way down the hill. there is a gate and you can park right there and walk down the trail.
