At it again

Just cant seem to get enough of these natives!  Thought you might enjoy some more pics.  Never saw a trout slam a top water like a bass until this weekend!  Absolutely slammed my fly!  Hope you enjoy the pics.

Great pictures.  This is torture you know...  All we have around here are stockies and a few crusty steelhead left.... (trout wise that is)... Thanks for sharing and hopefully motivating me to get out and find some natives brookies.

    Bug,
I felt the same way until this season.  Got sick of being jealous, so I just jumped into it.  This place is very remote, as I must walk a mile just to get to the creek.  No access points really keeps this place a secret, let me tell you!!  Thanks for the compliments!

How did you find the creek, just so i can try to find my own little native creek.

I'm very familiar with the terms "RUN AND GUN" and "FISH ON!"

"They're in here I can smell 'em"

My best resource has always been http://www.fish.state.pa.us/waters_trout.htm  I am also nose deep in topographic maps.  My source used to be free, but trails.com bought them out and now they charge 49.99 a year to view them.  you can get a trial and view 4 free maps of your chosen location.

Course the HARDEST part is getting to wife to understand my obsession.  Something about paying attention to anything she says........I don't know.  I wasn't really listening!

That's very cool man, Nice photos.  That stream looks a whole lot like a few streams I got to fish in the Smoky's this past weekend.  Nothing like little brookies and mountain streams.

Wild Brookies sure are a blast to catch. Have a few honey hole streams I have fished over the years. One is a total brookie other has a mix of brookie and brown even got a wild rainbow out of it one time was a plesant surprise.Just wish thye got a bit bigger. Most of the wild broomie streams I have fished they average 3-7 in with a 9-10in whooper once in awhile.

SO MANY FISH SO LITTLE TIME.
WHY ARE ALL THE PLACES I HAVE YET 2 FISH SO FAR AWAY?

Microsofts Local Live server is good too.  Look at the resolution of this spot on Elk.  Many of you guys that aren't afraid to walk will recognize it.

This is a Birds Eye view.  More streams are being added daily to the birds eye view.  The URL is:

I built a GIS application for agriculture.

It used PSU, TERRA, NASA, NOAA and our own aerial imagery. Plus gave you the ability to draw. I tried to talk the company into a hunting program. Never made the list till after I left. I hear they MAY be developing it.
