justice lake

Is justice lake still iced over or does it have open water?  Would appreciate any information.

    I went thru there last tues,the upper end was open almost to Big Pine.I haven't heard anything since then.

    I'm gonna fish more and work less.

    I have been going to Justice Lake since the 80s.  It has became a yearly thing for me and some buddies to go camping up there the first weekend of trout.  We camp close to where the beach house is.  My question is now that all fee base activities are no longer available will we still be able to camp there?   There is no longer a number up there and I tried calling the courthouse, what a joke that was; made around 7 calls and couldn't talk to anyone.  Any ideas?

    They are advertizing for a Park Administrator right now.They hope to open this coming summer. I doubt that will help you for trout season though. You could camp in my lower yard on Sugar creek its about 5 miles from lake though.

    Wow, thanks for the offer treesparrow.  But I'm gonna keep on trying for two mile.  It is so neat to be living 40 ft from where your fishing for the weekend.  If anyone knows of a phone number or a person I could talk to let me know.
