Anyone Remember These??

I was going through some of my old tackle and came across some neat "retro" lures that some of you might remember from the past.  I thought I'd share them for your viewing....Do you know what they are?  I do, but wanted to see your responses....If you have any neat old "retro" lures to add, please feel free.  Tight Lines!

    rippin,

You're pretty much correct...the top 3 lures are Rocky Jr. I guess they were actually manufactured for fly fishermen.  The fourth one down is an L&S which I believe was made by Mirro Lure and the last two are Mirro Lures.

The bottom two are MirroLures. The second from the bottom is the "snaggers special"  lol

I grew up casting those on the beaches for speckled trout!! Those are in great shape. Hang on to them and they'll be worth some dough in another 20-30 years...lol

I've got a couple hundred L & S Lures (Mirro Lures). Spent a couple years trying to get one in each size and color.

I have been told the last one is the first mass produced glow in the dark lure. Not sure about that, if anyone has any info. on it please let me know.

This is part of my L & S lure collection.
They go from Musky and Pike size down to panfish size.
I have about this many more in their original boxes.
I also collect Creek Chub lures.

I think I may have one or two in my box, bought when I was in school, which is now 26 years ago, (oh ****, I'm getting old!) I'll check sometime soon, and this was a good read, have a good day.

Here some of the original first Wiley Lures made back in the early 80s when Dale first started making his plugs.

Any of you ever heard of Ed Latiano?  He just past away last year.  Here are some of his muskie plugs...never used.

This next one I found in one of my dad's old tackle boxes and have NO clue what it is...any help?

Shut, I have one of those last ones too.......will check on the name this week.   Love the ladiano plugs, you ever get any of his ****hole lures?     Also do you have any of the Jimmy Lures that went into production about the same time as wiley, also from ellwood?

Better too far back, than too far forward.

I do...The Jimmys are actually the first lures I started using for muskie fishing.  They had great action to them!  I was actually born and raised in E.C. so I know all the lure makers in town.  Ellwood is like one of the muskie lure capitols of the world (per capita).  You have Jimmy, Latiano, Bender, Wiley, Leo, Newman, Mentzer, McConahay and more...  Its neat how anglers from such a little town are so focused on targeting muskies.
