Bigwill_ Biggame I fished the spillway Mon pm to Tues am, saw and caught several perch, yes they where hitting blade baits, for the most part only one guy was really fishing for them (with bait),mostly there small 5 or 6 inches, but saw several 10 to 12 inches caught but not by everbody one here one there, almost everybody was throwing them back, last week a guy did pretty good using a minnow on a slip bobber fishing near the bottom 13 ft,he was in a small car top boat, theres plenty of room to fish perch,it just the Eye fishing that requires(combat fishing) theres only room for 5 guys on each side on the spillway and noodle rods are a must for getting out over the wire. One other thing the water is the highest I've ever seen, there was very little shore line left,so take hip boots or waders, the eye fishing was really good last night, some huge fish,my son and I limited out,my largest was 29 inches.
