brown and brook stockies

i have been fishing a lot of the delayed harvest areas and ive noticed that ive been having trouble gettin the fresh stocked browns and brooks.  i never know what to use for the fresh stocked fish.  i usually tie on any  egg pattern, magget ball, or beaded prince and ill get a lot of the rainbows but the brooks and browns usually dont bite them too much.  any help?

Why walk on water when we've got boats?

Fish streams where they only stock browns and brooks, instead of rainbows?

do well in early spring on white and olive woolly buggers. browns tend to feed in early morning and evenings. not always the case but that's when i usualy catch'm.

Make sure you are fishing over browns and brookies...then throw on a bead head olive wooly bugger. As much as I hate to use this fly, it will catch the fresh stocked fish better than most anything.

After that, toss orange sucker/glo spawns.

After a few days of being caught, they can key in on the insects pretty fast.
