How's the fishing lately at.......

How has everyone been doing at North Park Lake, Virgin Run, Racoon Creek, Deer Lakes, or Canonsburg Lake?

    North park was slow last weekend, but improving every day. guy brought in a golden rainbow last night was a little over 5 pounds and 22 inches. got it on chartruese powerbait tipped with a mealworm. small baits have been working best like maggots, waxworms, small minnows and mealworms. they are stocking it again this saturday

    I hit North Park today after work, and I was able to limit out in a short amount of time.  I did pretty good, but I didn't see anybody else catching much.  I will be heading down to Virgin Run tomorrow.

    Canonsburg Lake is okay.  Pretty sure there stockin it later today

    I did well at Virgin Run this morning.   I brought in several brown trout and a bass on a 1/8 oz. Cleo.  The sun got high and the action stopped.

    they stocked north park today and most people did pretty good. the warden stopped in after stocking and said they put in a huge 10 pound rainbow. who ever catches that will be a happy camper.

     Fished North park on tuesday caught 15-20 on rooster tails between 2 and 4 pm all fish released
         Took my daughter out the next day, same spot, same time ,same bait = nothing
          fished the same spot on Friday and Saturday = nothing at all .  Did not see many fish caught on Saturday

    I hit Virgin Run on Saturday and only got two rainbows, but did land a really nice largemouth around 6 pounds.  Went to Racoon on sunday, got nothing.  Beautiful weekend though, loved every minute of it!
