Fished it on 3-16-08. Water was high and it was rough walking in the hard snow and ice. Caught about 10 fish in three hours on single egg pattern. Maybe another ten hits. Looked over the rt.219 bridge yesterday going by and the creek was rolling! Should be fishable again by the weekend.

Fished the delayed Harvest area Sat.What a beautiful day, landed 2 browns,3 rainbow's, 1 brookie.Worked awful hard for 6 fish,it was worth it. water is high, but clear.Still a bit cold for the fish to get active.A orange sow bug took them all, couldn't get a hit on anything else, and I threw it all at them.

Yes all of them, grew up in Kane , A sowbug or a scud are basically the same,I use a curved(egg) hook instead or a nymph.

place that hasn't changed in many years, except for the lack of jobs

Bradford now has a super walley world.
Might make it easy to find a minimum wage job with no benefits.

Tunagawant was medium depth and running clear.

Hillsides in the area are clear of snow on the sunny sides.

Allegheny River in NY was flooded.

Muskymastr,it's the west side grill. Even Warren is hitting the big time,Bob Evans & an Applebees. Kane still has___________.and will always have_________________. I don't know if it still open to camp above Red bridge,on Kinzua creek, Black water area.We used to spend weeks up there fishing and camping when we were kids.Don't know if the forrestry got control or not. But a campout does sound good.

No camping at the blackwater area but you can camp where Mead Run crosses FSR 321. Plus there are places to  camp along FSR 321. Haven't been down there yet this year so I'm not sure if anything has changed. I know there was a lot of trash at different places on 321 but, as far as I know its still open to camping.

There will be days when fishing is better than ones optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

They may have simlar results but they definately have their days. Theres days the fish wont touch a scud but will hit a sowbug. They dont even look the same. Now a muskrat nymph does an ok job of immitating both. Try two seperate patterns, especially a scud carrying an egg.

Fished the project yesterday afternoon . Caught a few Bows, Brooks and Browns.  The Bows on single blood dots, Brooks and the Browns on a small marabou streamer. Talked to two fellas using spinners and I guess they hammered them . Waters starting to go down and its clear.
