Montour Run

Has anybody been fishing Montour Run?   I never have, but want to this weekend.

Where are the best access/parking spots?   Best places to fish?  Help a Brother out!

    Here's a tip for ya...  Stay home.  The Ohio is 4 feet above normal right now and is flowing about 50,000 cf/s faster than it should be.  That's just dangerous in addition to non-productive.
     
    Umm, unless of course you're talking about the creek and not the mouth of Montour Run.  If that's the case, then disregard the river report.  We normally access the creek up near Robinson.  Not sure of the actual street names, right where the bike trail parking is.

    Go down past the mall at robinson, past buca dibeppo and down the hill.  at the bottom you'll see a bike trail.  make a right and follow it to the parking lot.  u can fish anywhere along there.

    I fished it yesterday and caught 12 total the biggest was 18". It is flowing a little fast just add more weight.
