There are some commercials that get under my skin. The one with Andy Reid “Fumblerooski” is one. The “High Tide” used to be. But sort of changed after all of the Alabama/SEC belly aching about being more deserving in the CFP. Then Michigan who was playing with half of their team beats a pretty much fully in tact Alabama. SC loses, Georgia loses. Texas who is really Big 12, needs the refs to not call a clear as day targeting to get into over time. Now, High Tide guys, High Tide! Now it is just fitting of the arrogant fanbases.

Might as well add college football/athletics to this list. NIL and transfer portal are a double edged sword.

I do think it was wrong that colleges were reeling in $Ms and not sharing. I think they got it wrong in how it is being shared though and rules are just crazy. Not really sure a right way. Would like to see an NFL cap, so we don’t end up with MLB level, golden rule like Genie noted. Not a fan that some kid that hasn’t seen the field is getting $6M, while the O-line that is making things happen for them is getting nothing. If that QB gives his O-line gifts, it is somehow against the rules…. If a college athlete enters a summer league and wins, it is against the rules to collect any sort of cash prize. Which is maybe a couple hundred for spending cash but others can collect millions which is life altering?

Transfer portal, close it until after the championship! Playoffs, no byes, 16 teams. No home field advantage. All games are neutral site “bowls”. Better seed gets closer game, sort of like men’s basketball regions.

One sentence texters.

Not when one sentence is sufficient, but when they text a sentence; text another sentence; text another sentence; and so on and so forth in rapid succession until 10 texts later they get out what they were trying to communicate.

The poster formally known as Duncsdad

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Yep, not a Franklin fan but, PSU had the plays last night, Drew missed A LOT of open guys, esp. in the first half and beginning of the second half.  Did get some helpful PI calls too which were "penalties" by the definition but in that game....mmmm....

Now, have to drive back in the snow Saturday to State College to drop my daughter off and instead of a party up there, definitely going to be pretty low key I would think....

Thought this was the year.  Still some good wins and it was a heck of a game last night no matter who you rooted for.

OK here goes. Daylight saving time. Seems to be there is consideration by the powers to be to make it permanent. No more spring ahead, fall behind. I would prefer that I a decision be made one way or another. I used to think that I would prefer to stay on DST year round but as of late, changed my mind. Too dark early in the morning in the part of the country I live in. Either way, set it and forget it. From the info I found, according to most sleep experts our biological clock is more naturally aligned with standard time.
Just wondering if anyone else has an opinion.

I could care less either way, but I can see the safety factor of kids in the morning having light on way to school/bus stop. It is still dark when my kids leave, but the younger kids it is light when their buses roll through my area. I know my dark vision/headlight glare seems to get worse by the day and some of those kids/parents don’t seem to have a clue about kids running into the street from blind areas. Not sure if that is the reason for it or not, but one thing that I do like about it. It is a bummer that it is either turning dark or already there when I finish the day. But it is only other working suckers on the road since kids are home from school already and also not just waking up.

Change it 1/2 hour--right in the middle to minimize any  issues or complaints-then never change it again-its a pain in the azz
