anyone following the Dan Penny trial?

does anyone here think he's NOT being railroaded by blind, ignorant  criminal enablers?
Does anyone here support his prosecution?

If so, you're an ignorant fool too

Jury being deadlocked is not an indicator of the verdict. Perhaps a mistrial will be declared. I’ll keep my opinion to myself on his guilt or innocence. Sometimes the wheels of justice turn slowly.

How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

Judge dismissed the manslaughter and now told the jury to deliberate on a lesser charge
The whole thing is a racially motivated travesty of justice

NYC--nuff said -Live 90, miles away and went there off and on my whole life, no more, its a very dangerous place now-always had to watch your step like any city but its really gone downhill.
Am 77 and have seen cycles there where at, for example, Times Square was GREAT and then a quagmire then Great again -now possibly dangerous.
Subways used to be interesting rides now -watch your back.
Hundreds could go and likely have a nice time but then---- BAD STUFF - far more often than should be tolerated.

In my younger days I lived right across the state line in New Jersey. I believe it was 3 miles to NY city. Used to go there once in awhile. The drinking age was 18 to be served alcohol. Only remember riding the subway once. I lived there from when I was 19 till I was 22.
I forgot to mention one of my granddaughters and her significant other moved to little Italy in NY City a couple months ago. Hope they stay safe!

Little Italy seems to just keep getting smaller and smaller as years pass, always a nice place to be.

Should never have gone to trial; a concerned citizen moves to protect other riders from a mentally unstable druggie. Passengers testified they feared for their own welfare. It's a case of no good deed goes unpunished. Then what the judge did is crazy. He's sending the jury back to reconsider the second charge that they've already found to not apply, in other words, being pro-prosecution, he's hoping that they can at least find something to give Alvin Bragg a win. New York city jurors are really gullible, and Bragg is capable of convincing them that something that did not exist actually did. I'll refer you to 34 counts of accounting errors that in real life would have just been misdemeanors had they been real and that the statute of limitations had not expired, and they were elevated to FELONIES and 12 NY jurors, (two of them were lawyers), were somehow convinced  by Bragg that Trump was guilty. So there is a real possibility that Daniel Penny is going up for a while until he wins on appeal. What the judge did is wrong.

Whenever you want to know what the Democrats are up to, watch what they accuse the other side of doing.

Wondered a bit about the Judge==At first my anti Blue city bias may have clouded my initial opinions.

If the Judge had declared the requested mistrial instead of throwing out the biggest charge it could have gone to trial again--now that's over and done with --never to be brought again. He completely dismissed the biggest charge.

Then the judge sent the jury back to consider  the second serious charge- I initially thought that was a bad thing but am revisiting that notion as well.
Think about it-- if a juror or jurors held out on the first its quite likely they may well hold out on the second as well-thus leading to the second complete dismissal of a charge

Then the case is OVER and Penny wins.

Ny ought to just sit down with Penny and his attys and settle right now--big too.
Just perhaps they can save themselves a bit of the dishonor that will come with a trial they cant possibly win.
