WOW!! Fishin' Guy brought old LDD back to the forum. He's been missin' for months. Now if only DeadGator's mentioning BTDT would work. I kinda miss his witicisms.

Whenever you want to know what the Democrats are up to, watch what they accuse the other side of doing.

My two sons and I enjoyed our annual Thanksgiving morning duck hunt on BTDT’s old place this morning. Been doing it since 2017 and the new owner continues to allow us to hunt there.

One of the kindest, most generous people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. His lovely wife always had coffee and treats ready for us when we were done. Wonderful, salt of the earth people. New owners are keeping the kindness and generosity going on that little slice of Penns Woods.

Word on the street is that he’s doing well and enjoying warm air and sunshine, although I haven’t talked to him personally in a few years.

I sure wish he would. But let's be honest - being outside the sphere of social media and away from the political disaster so many online places seem to be anymore - good for him. Hope he's fishin.

DG, wasn't trying to sleep with Don like so many out there want and are. Just look at how many different bed sets of him are on the market

Maybe some new billiard felt of him and sets of balls with pictures of 15 women that accused him of sexual misconduct. Could have 7 brunets, 7 blondes and the redhead for the 8 ball. Some MAGA men would buy that up quick. Just hope it's not like picking out colors of paint to chose the print on the cloth. JK

In Cal one House district is still being counted and has recently gone slightly Blue.
In another state a blue candidate for their state house has won by 15 votes-
This as they discovered over 20 votes were 'accidentally 'shredded as over 20 more people voted than they have accounted for.
Naturally there are people screaming for a revote.
Hmmmmmmm
I understand stuff happens but when they are still in limbo or counting 3 weeks out its cannon fodder for theories and beyond unprofessional.
Especially when the results seem to end up for the same side.

Seems the Mexican president follows the typical left agenda of trying to keep everyone happy on both side of any issue.
After telling Trump she would close the border on her side today she has said not so fast and is downplaying her conversation with Trump  in what seems to be an attempt to satisfy 'the other side '.
I dont think that will go over well.

Only thing I could come up with close to a source for this info you keep talking about is a truth tweet from the orange one himself. Considering his penchant for straight up lying if not grossly exaggerating nearly everything he says. I didn't know if that's super trustworthy news here, guy.

Yep. It is so easy to make money on these people it's comical. It's sad for sure - but comical.

Yeaaaa- they are all so gullible they don't even believe men can get pregnant and how much we really need tampons in the boys restrooms at school and don't even dare ask one of those fools the difference between a man and a woman.

Trump is also selling knock off Les Paul guitars and Gibson has started taking legal action.

https://amp.theguardian.c...7/gibson-trump-guitars

For anybody that doesn’t know guitars or Gibson specifically, they have been EXTREMELY protective of their trademark on the Les Paul and other guitar body shapes. They have a long history of litigation against guitar manufacturers that borrowed designs they developed, but they never took on a president. I’m kind of curious as to how this one plays out.

Gibson has bigger worries.
3000 **** Gibson electric guitars with a retail value of 18 million were just seized at a west coast port.

Yeah, saw about the 3,000 fake Gibson's seized at LA port and the link of Trump selling his autograph for $10,000 each on fake Gibson's (posted video of it the other day on here)

Saw those while I was checking out vintage Gibson's reviews on the tube. Those things bring as much and more than a new car at the auctions I have been at.

The China KO's on Rapala seem nicer than a real Rapala, sharper hooks and beautiful finishes. They were only 25 cents each and brought more money in auctions than the real deal.

Son bought 125,000 of them before the tariffs went into place his have been (sold out). He has been loading up on pallets and pallets of tackle lately and got in 1,600 rods this week alone, cheapest having $79 price tags. A warehouse he deals with can't afford to keep storing them so bought dirt cheap.

I catch just as many fish on the Chinese swimbaits as Keitechs.

C0unterfeit and vintage Gibsons aside, the musical instruments industry is going to be heavily impacted by tariffs. Every major manufacturer in that industry relies on foreign manufacturing to some extent, especially in their more affordable lines. Even “made in the USA” stuff uses components outsourced overseas.

I took 5 Rapala KO's of each color off him for top water night fishing. They looked to good to pass on BUT the hooks are tooo sharp for me. The guys and gals on his live shows loved them even though he would tell 'em they are KO's and didn't even come in boxes. The Rap's have problems with the lips breaking anyway. Most tackle/lures name brands are made over seas so check out made in the U.S stuff if that is what you are after.  Japan makes the nicest lures but not cheap.

Heck a bunch of my newer Snap-On tools and air tools come from over seas and ain't cheap.
Snap-on has 21 manufacturing facilities outside the US, including plants in Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, China, England, France, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

Pretty sure if tariffs get out of control manufacturing plants will just move to countries that are not effected as much. What a mess that could be.

The warehouses that buy (stock pile) ahead of the "proposed" hikes will still cost them $$ for that extra space and be passed on.

I don't care what happens either way.

Genie, a good buddy of mine Dad made fiddles, banjos and mandolins for Charlie Daniels. He would get the most endangered exotic wood from Africa to make them with. Not a easy task

Whenever Charlie's band would come to town my buddies band would be the opening act for him. They opened for Marshall Tucker Band, Lee Greenwood & David Allen Coe also. They are old farts now.

Plenty of Lure companies have been sued for copying styles from other manufactures. We have pallets of new old stock lures like that. Many never even made it to the packaging some that made it say Patton Pending on the backs. While other lures we have, the company just had to quit selling. Some would just make a slight change in appearance and bring it back. Hard not to copy a plug in appearance somewhat if you ask me.

If you have a Gibson guitar and all of a sudden the neck breaks or the headstock snaps off,
you can feel rest assured that you have a Genuine Gibson and not a Chinese knock-off.
