Thanksgiving

I am starting this thread a little early to give all who follow along here time to think about all the things they can be thankful for come Thursday. I hope that the majority will have family and friends to share the holiday with. It might be nice if a few of you could share what you are thankful for. It might help others to remember that they have the same or similar things to be thankful for. I sincerely hope that each and everyone of you have a safe and enjoyable day
Peace and happiness to everyone.

How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

Having just lost our female pointer last week, I thought it was going to be a very tough Thanksgiving. But then I thought of how wonderful it was to have had the privilege to have had her as a hunting buddy for over 10 years. Which got me to remembering game shot, fish caught, laughs with friends, good times with coworkers, the love of my wife, and two knucklehead 6-year-old pointers.

Everything, in perspective is fine. There is much to be thankful for. Including all y’all here.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Sorry to hear about your dog. I had to euthanize my beautiful dog Pia a few months ago. Our 4 footed buddies are no longer with us but we will always have them in our memories.

Condolences on your loss Dardys. Glad you are in good spirits.

I give thanks every day, so this day is mostly filling my belly with family. Obviously giving thanks as always.

Hoping to give thanks a few more times this year of hitting some water too…

Congratulations on your long marriage. Mine lasted 61 years. Ended with my wife’s passing 2 years ago on September 25th. I still have our 4 children, 9 of our 10 grandchildren and 4 great granddaughters. You’re so right about this great country.
