NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2024 - Phoenix - The Championship

Gentlemen,

The final race of the season.  Phoenix!  Tough on tires and fuel Mileage.  NASCAR will try to make a "race" of this, and It may be ugly.  I predict a "caution" will be thrown in the last 10 laps, and there will be at Least one  Green-White-Checker.

                                          Here's Your Top 4:

1.  Ryan Blaney                                          3.  Tyler Reddick
2.  Joey Logano                                          4.  Willaim Byron

                                        Here's My Picks:

                        Winner:  Denny Hamlin
                             Long Shot:  Kyle Busch
                                   1st Out:  Chad Finchum

Good Luck     And Thank You for Playing.

I updated the score but it didn't post. Hmm.

    Gentlemen,

And so, another season comes to a close.  It's been a pleasure doing this, with a BIG assist from Dano.  Joey Logano won the Championship, and it's not without controversy.  But he did "win" in.
We had one person pick the actual winner of the race.  That was Hendey lathe, picking Joey Logano.
We had three people pick the best Long Shot.  They were:  Bigfoot, Wood Nickle, and Fishin' Coyote.  They all Picked: Kyle Larson.
And we had 3 people pick the closest 1st Out.  They were : Dano, Bigfoot, and Fishin' Coyote.  They all picked Jeb Burton.
And Congratulations go out to this weeks' Best Picker and NASCAR God of the Week:  Dano! With a fine 80 points.
         Congratulations! .

          Here's How We Scored:

    1.  Dano ************************************  80
    2.  Bigfoot ******************************  70 t/b
    3.  Fishin'  Coyote ************************  70
    4.  Wood Nickle *************************  69
    5.  Bloody Hand ****************  61
    6.  Hendey Lathe ************  52
    7.  Indsguiz  *************  46

I'm going to ask Dano to publish the final game scores right below here.

Hope to see you all back here next February!
