I loved baking the corn and potatoes in the sand on the beach. Pig roasts buried in the ground . Have you tried the roadside BQ off the Slippery Rock exit & 79? Think they sell bait next to it.

 Made 10# of sausage this week. Turned out great.

  Smell what you mean on my trips to Southern Georgia and Alabama. Good thing they don't have car air fresheners mimic  that odor.
 Gets creepy when the big white crosses start popping up and a preacher on the radio. Feels like going into a episode of the twilight zone.
 
 Checked out a 275 gallon oil tank spit while getting minnows off my MAGA friend yesterday. Brought back memories from all the pig roasts in the hood over the years. He or I would raise a few hogs or if needed a pig farm 10 minutes away for 50 cent# live weight.  You ever eat at Frankie's on Butler St? Can smell that place from a block away and the odor will stay with you for over 8 hours lol.
 
 Did keep my streak going for over 25 years tonight fishing on Halloween. Windy and very dark, went past the haunted graveyard on the old gravel road to get there.
 
 Got 4 Cats 27"--31" and said heck with that and went to one rod for Crappie. Had 11 nice ones in the bucket when some close by Yotes started yelping and howling. Probably found a wounded deer. I had enough 7:00--9:00. Ended up dumping the Crappie out. Still very low water level. Hasn't started to rain here as of 11:03 smh.

 Thanks, would always take that week vacation to hunt small game and camp or rent a cabin for 3 days (Halloween) to fish for Steelhead or Salmon. Just made the adjustment to fish Arthur every Halloween when quit fishing the streams. Some of my best days at Arthur have come on 10/31.
