Yeah I really don’t care who runs against Trump. I’m finding it very difficult to justify voting for any of the current candidates right now. I’ve had 0 enthusiasm for Trump ever.

The presidential landscape right now is just absurd but amusing theater to me.

If Trump wins, OK. If Trump loses and goes away forever, even better.

And really, until Trump’s team and the RNC figure out how to do ballot harvesting like the Dems, R’s will keep losing presidential elections.

That photo of Trump, fist upraised,  standing a bit over the Secret service with blood on his face and the American Flag waving overhead will live forever as one of the most iconic photos ever.

So he would have been what, like 12 when trump entered the political scene? He spent his entire adolescence with a “leader” like trump as one of the top political figures in the US. Think about that.

You republicans know damm well what kind of person trump is. You’re fully aware he is an unethical, immoral piece of trash. But you excuse it away by saying the ends justify the means. But you’re adults, and you make a complex moral calculation to come to that result.

So what kind of example does that set for kids, who can’t yet understand that moral calculation? Do you think this kid actually understood whatever rationalization you republicans concoct in your head to justify support of what we all know is a truly indecent man?

Who knows what this shooters motives were or why he did this, but he came of age in an era when trumps brand of politics shaped political discourse and created the political climate. We are going to have an entire generation growing up to believe that Donald trumps behavior is worthy of emulation - both his supporters and his opposition. “Win by any means necessary” is the lesson.

It’s a never ending stream of inflammatory rhetoric and behavior. And whether you are with trump or against him, it shouldn’t be a surprise when kids that grew up in a time where trumps behavior is normalized end up taking things too far.

 Was watching the rally live on a far right broadcast and the place was packed. The place is only 10 minutes from home. Even a women interviewed leaving the event moments after said she "can't believe this didn't happen before at one of his rallies" 
 
 I figured the shooter would've been at the minimum 300 yards away. Found out soon after he was that close with a long gun.
 
 The SS is not as large as you would think so local and State police are called in for a bunch of the load. Told my wife before the shooting he is a sitting duck in a place like that.

WOW! Yep, Trump's behavior being normalized is probably what led to this guys assination attempt. No possibility that it might have been the past 8 years of the MSM and the left claiming everyday that Trump is basically Hitler and Satan wrapped into one. Images of Kathy Griffin with trumps severed head and SnoopDogg killing a Trump effigy in a video come to mind. What kind of example does that set for kids...

Trump back in 2016 suggests “2nd amendment people” shpuid do something about Hillary’s Supreme Court picks.

Explain to me how that is not suggesting violence? And there is no shortage of examples like this. Trump says shiit like this all the time and you know it.
