NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2024 - Chicago street course.

     I am getting this out late.  Got my days mixed up.  Or, should I say I got my daze mixed up.  LOL.
     It's Chicago, it could be wet.  And Shane and AJ are in the field.
     So make your choices, sit down, and open a beer (or three).
     There's about 13 drivers who could win this thing.  So, guess wisely.
 
     Here's My Picks:
          Winner:  Shane Van Gisbergen
                Long Shot:  Bubba Wallace.
                      1st Out:  Joey Hand

Gentlemen,
 
     That race started out sooo well.  And it ended, well, well, well.
     We had one person come closest to picking the winner.  That was Wood Nickle, picking Ty Gibbs (on a holdover).
     We had three people pick the best Long Shot,  They were:  Wood Nickle (h/o), Bigfoot, and Bloody Hand, all picking Michel McDowell.
      And we Had everyone except me pick Josh Bilicki as the 1st Out,  and since we go by car Number. Wood Nickles' h/o was driving the same car as Bilicki.
      So,,,, Congratulations go out to this week's Best Picker, and NASCAR God of the Week:  Wood Nickle with 61 Points,  and he also had a mini trifecta for another 25 points!.
     And the moral of this story seems to be:  When it's a Road Race, say screw this, and go Walleye Fishing.

I see you scored SVG as 0-points.
 Shane Van Gisbergen actually got 11 points for the race; 10 points by winning the first stage and 1 point for finishing in 38th.
So, you, me, Bigfoot and Fishin coyote should all receive 11 points to our totals. 
So I added those 11 points in the season's points totals.
Also, Dano came closest to picking the winner with Reddick which would negate Woodnickle's mini trifecta, so I subtracted the 25 points. (Sorry John).
