NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2024 - Nashville

Gentlemen,
     
     This week the NASCAR tour heads to Nashville, for the Ally 400.
     Here's some thoughts and insights for the race:  1.  It's going to be HOT, and very humid.
     Tire wear is going to be extreme.  400 miles is an odd fuel number, so watch for "strategy". which will probably fail.
     Bubba Wallace, and Joey Logano will probably run over people to get a good finish.
     I will be at the track, with my son and grandson.  I'll wave so you can see us.  LOL

Interesting race

Gentlemen,
 
     Well,  I have completed my annual Pilgrimage to a NASCAR Race.
     The Tennessee track was very nice. well organized, and clean.  The only complaint was the Lousy Ticket sales force.  They sold only what THEY wanted to sell you not specific what I wanted.
      The race was good, lots of lead changes, but we had to leave before the "fun" started.
      And for those of you who like a laugh , , , I started scoring this, and I usually check the winners first, (oh I have 51 points)  then I do the Long Shot  (wow! another 31 points)  then I go to the 1st Out , , , and I'm scanning the bottom of the list (no Zane Smith ), the middle (No Zane Smith) and finally I go to the top and start down  Sure enough my 1st Out finished SECOND?
     We had one person come closest to picking the winner.  That was me, picking:  Tyler Reddick
      We had one person pick the best Long Shot.  That was Bigfoot, picking Joey Logano.  BUT he forgot to pick a 1st Out. Ouch!
     And we had four people pick the actual 1st Out.  They were: Wood Nickle, Fishin' Coyote, Dano and Hendey Lathe.  They all picked:  Chad Finchum.
 
 And Congratulations go out to this weeks' Best Picker, and NASCAR God of the Week:  Dano! With a score of  54 points!  Congratulations
