Willow leaves.

A family member recently gave me everything I need to tie willow leaves, but I have no idea as to how I should tie them. I couldnt find any good resources online and was wondering if any of you guys would know of how to do this. 
I really don't want to waste what was given to me, so any guidance would be appreciated.

    Start with learning how to snell knot as this will be the main knot used to tie your hooks in. For Lake Erie I prefer 1/0 Gamakatsu octopus hooks. I snell knot one and then do a second snell knot about two inches in front of the first hook for the second one. Then I use what ever beads I feel match the blade the best and put enough on the line to be the length of the blade. This is so the blade doesn't accidently hit the hooks while spinning.     Ya some good advice. 10mm n 8mm beads. Try and use metal clevis. Those plastic ones are nice to change blades on the fly, but I don't use them. Also, 5 or 6 beads is the norm for us. Try and find small small beads for a cushion on each side of the clevis. Good luck. Erie should be better than last year, if you can imagine that. GL.
