As of to-day there was still a lot of open water on the lower lake & very little on the upper lake. There have been a few guys out & my buddy did pretty well Wed. afternoon for Trout. Bundle up,it gets pretty chilly when the wind picks up. Better in the afternoon when some of the skim ice melts. A good tip when there is some ice is to cast onto the ice & drag your bait off the edge.The fish do hide under the ice & then come out to hit your offering pretty quick.  sam
