Is Cross Creek Dead?

What's with the water level when every other lake is back to normal levels, and where did the crappies go? (fishing from shore)

    unfortunately all the crappie I have been catching have been in deeper water from my boat...don't think any spots have been close enough to shore even with the extremely low water...they are biting though
