large shiners

I just found out that Ganders  in Greensburg carries live large shiners. Surprised me so I called to verify this afternoon. Appprox. $7 a doz.,but if you belong to their club it is about $5.70 not bad if you don't have time to net some. I would call first to see if they are still avail. before driving.  sam

    I was there yesterday.  Didn't know they carried them either.  Store was a circus because they just announced closure and put most items at 50% off in an effort to close in a three week time frame.  That said, their live bait looked very healthy.  Wouldn't be surprised if the live bait was 50% off too.

    Yes.  I walked in yesterday afternoon just minutes before the store employees were told to cut prices 50% and that they wanted the inventory reduced low enough to close in 3 weeks.  When I got there, I was one of 4 cars in the parking lot.  Within two hours you could barely find an empty space.

    Just came home from second trip today I cleaned up ! I have never got anything that cheap in my life spent $500.00 bucks got 3 reels 2 St,croix, finess poles,  seagur floro 9 bucks a spool. lures out the ying yang . and an pair of Costas . everything was 1/2 off . If your going for shiners they would be dead before you make it to checkout !

    Guess what the profit was before the big sale.... any wonder Gander went belly up?

    Don't fret, some stores will remain open where younz still be able to buy outdoor stuff like yaks and hiking shoes..... RVs too.

    A friend of mine was talking to one of the employees & was told that the store's owner was tearing this store down to rebuild it much larger & offer campers,quads boats & other big ticket items under a new name & a bigger inventory. We'll see.  sam

    I was told same thing . look on line commercial property for sale Westmorland country that building is for sale . why would they sale an building to build a bigger building on the same lot ? But maybe the ad just wasn't taken down yet for the property. Don't know and honestly really couldn't care either way wasn't my go to place if prices wasn't 50% OFF I wouldn't of even wasted my time going in for 25% off . I get 80% of my stuff from fish usa .

    GANDER RV...…  Marcus Lemonis, star of CNBC's The Profit and CEO of Camping World bought Gander Mountain assets in bankruptcy court.  Some stores to permanently close while others will become GANDER RV.
