Shower curtain rings for planer boards
Where can I get these? I have looked at Walmart, Quality Market, Home Depot, and Giant Eagle everybody has plastic but not metal. Thanks HU

Craft stores like A.C. Moore and stuff like that should have them...although, I think I do remember Wal-Mart having them the last time I bought some.

I was in the same boat you are few years ago....walmart carrys the fancy ones...check online you can find the stainless steel ones....

I bought some last year at Kraus (sp) Dept. Store is Erie. I think I paid around $8 for 3 dozen.

I am trying out using planer boards for the first time this spring. One charter captain told me to use the cheap plastic ones, they work better.

McMaster Carr, an industrial supply company, has them. You can order them online at http://www.mcmaster.com/ then search for shower curtain rings. You get a bag of 100 for $7.99.

Value Home Center had the ones you want they were like $1.5 for 10 if I am not mistaken. I got them at the one off Pittsburgh Avenue

Are you running rubber bands out of the clips?
If you don't mind spending a couple extra bucks, run to Poor Richard's and pick up some Weldon's. Good release, not very expensive.
