CICADAS said to hell with this weather and all went south.

However, that being said, if the weather dude stays true to his word, the forth coming temps (82 Sunday), could stir some tree top evening serenading..

Reliable sources wishing to remain 'reliable' say 2019 will be the year for the Brood 8, 17 year cycle Cicada, beginning 1st week of March.

Rumor has it some form of "Cicada" have been spotted flying off of the causeways at Espeyville and Linesville.

Loads of them out and still emerging at twin lakes today. Fed some to the hungry blue gills at twin lakes with my 3 year old today.

Murrysville PA - they are everywhere at my Mom's house. Climbing on all the trees and shrubs. Landing on you as you walk past them. Crawling through the grass. My Mom wants me to get rid of them. I told her to wait a month or so and they hopefully will be gone.
