Like "Global WA... Error, Climate Change" CWD is a natural occurrence.

I recall the day PA. Outdoor News began preaching on "Global Warming" based on, "scientific data".

As with this CWD article, the writer of the weather rag twisted information to fit his narrative.

Canceled my subscription immediately. Still have my "charter member hat" though. Just as a reminder of a once good newspaper.

Thanks for posting the link Eyes. 🍻

So you kill half the deer population to slow it from spreading ?  (killing off slows everything! )
OK now what ? It's still here.

Wait till the deer heard increase and kill off half again ? Die Hard Deer... part 2
Hope it goes away on it's own ?
Tell everyone it's only half as bad now ? I like it ....lol

I'm mathematically lost on this remedy .....someone please explain .

Capt. that mathematical thingy requires some kinda "BS" degree in Science, I'm thinkin'.

With only a "reality" degree in common sense we will never be able to figure out the scientific stuff.

    In layman's terms, we're just toopid.😞

BTDT, I'm sure you'll love the headline of this freshly released press release from the PGC: https://www.media.pa.gov/Pages/Game-Commission-Details.aspx?newsid=290

If I recall correctly, someone on here (not naming names) has been saying all along the PGC is gonna use this to further wipe out deer in the elk range.

rsquared sorry to take so long to respond. I been busy patting myself on the back. I hate when I'm right. 😜

No doubt CWD exist and is contagious so I gotta wonder, why is there so many deer remaining to be tested and why, is it taking so long?

I would think the PGC would be concerned with expediting the testing to quickly assist with their search for other affected areas/herds. But perhaps one case of CWD traced to a preserve, is enough to further their agenda.

No need for more than one boogeyman at a time, I guess.

Well the PGC is going to start killing deer in Jefferson and Clearfield and Franklin Co. With into two mile of the confirmed CWD deer. A lot of deer will die that are negative... another state did this and not one deer tested positive... any thoughts?

The sportsmen’s clubs need to step up and get their legislators involved now or it will happen. While they are at it, make sure that removing the deer management leadership is part of the message. And if the BOD or the Director won’t remove the deer leadership, call for their removal.

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Seems to me they are killing the wrong deer .....maybe those fenced in ones should be wiped out or banned from our state ! Getting to the source of the problem is the common sense answer to prevent future issues. After all isn't where this all started ?

We found it in Erie County last June , just a matter of time where the herd needs to be destroyed, timber will benefit greatly, insurence companies will rejoice, what a money maker!  I am hoping that the government's work to destroy Lake Erie's yellow perch also so I can sell my guns and boat too. I could buy a grey uniform and ride my bicycle back and forth to work.
