Nice.  I wish I was there.  After getting a taste of big trout from Erie my next step has to be going to Alaska.

it was a do myself trip no guides ,that was the only way I
could do a 3 week trip with guides it would have cost to
much for that long, but it was great & not very pricey

we wanted to fish up in the fairbank area & we drove half
way there & found there was no water in that area, the
streams were very low this year so we went back south,
hope you make the trip, you will enjoy it

loaftech get the book FLYFISHERS GUIDE TO ALASKA & the
milepost and do some reading & plan a trip.
the milepost has all the roads & the mile markers & all of
    the streams, it very helpful.
we rented a cabin for the first 7 days of the trip & 2 cars
then the last part we rented a motor home & we felt that
worked a lot better, we camped at the stream & went fishing.
the cabin was great but you spent 2 to 3 hours a day driving
to the streams & back to the cabin. if you want more info
    let me know

Did you fish the Russian River any?  It may not have been the best time for that river when you were there but just wondering.  Russian and Deep Creek were my favorites when I went.  Both beautiful rivers.  Silvers sure are fun aint they?  I got my knuckles busted by silvers so many times in the first few days that I went and got a fancy new reel.

    BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS!!!

Oh did you eat at the resturant in Moose Pass by any chance? Can't remember the name but that was the best breakfast I have ever eaten in my whole life!

chipmunk I did fish the russian river but  I should have fished it more
once I found the rainbows & dollies & how to catch them with beads
& glowbugs it was good fishing & no I did not eat in the area you were
talking about. the silvers were fun but I realy liked fishing for the fresh
salt run steelhead on the anchor river & deep creek.
