    I just found it interesting.

Back in the day when I fished bass tournaments and the circuit had Arthur on it, we would show up just to get our participation points because the next legal bass I caught from that lake (1986 — 1992) would be the first one. I’m not sure if it helped that the event was scheduled for the closest Sunday to April 1st (April Fools Tournament) that the season was still in.

I’m sure things have changed there over the last 25 years.

It is very interesting and I can hardly wait to hear comments from those in the know that fish Arthur.

Given the recent comments on the Lake Arthur board, one would need to fish the lake first hand, to see what the fishing is really like.

Some have been successful and some not so much. However, in both cases, one should take either side, with a grain of salt and go see for ones self.

Arthur is a beautiful lake and like all other lakes has it's good times, bad times, along with her fare share of doorknobs.

On another matter, I enjoyed your Africa adventures. Congratulations on a successful hunt.

I like how the lake for Indiana is no wading and boating, and the picture shows a duud wading up to his butt cheeks.

I've fished Jimmy Rutherford Pier in Mississippi a handful of times.  It's low on my list of places I'd pick first to fish on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and I have fished there almost every summer for the past 20 years.  That place is always deserted, although it's an impressive structure built post Katrina with all of the federal dollars.

Arthur is the best PA has to offer?  Glad it's close to home.  Sometimes my boys and I catch some good fish there.  But I don't think so.
