Bass fishing bay

Just wondering if anyone has been out bass fishing in the bay or main lake yet?

No bass today my friend. Hit it hard from the stink hole, to the head, Perry's monument and the lagoons. 4 pike, 2 steelhead, 1 perch. Nice day nonetheless. Great to be on the water. Now if only the bass would show up for the party

40s in the main bay. Almost 50 in the lagoons. Just need a few more warm sunny days I think

Any updated temps? Thinking about taking the yak up north Saturday to try for some bass / pike.

No pike, but didn't take the yak up. Figured it would of been a mudhole with what they were calling wave wise up there. I did manage a dozen or so smallies however. Nothing crazy size, but enough to have fun and keep fishing.

I'll be up again this coming Monday and Tuesday, but with the yak this time.

Water temp does not matter now.
Bass fishing on the tribs has been as solid as ever for over 2 weeks now and over the last week, the Bay has been on fire! Now is the time.

I'm sure it is on fire, I see some nice footballs on here already, and I'm sure were going to do good.

I was more curious as to if anyone had an explanation for why the water temp reported by NOAA dropped from 49 to 43 the other night.

Thatā€™s a chunk, water looks pretty clear, too! Anyone know what the nearshore vis is at the moment (approximately)? Might prospect for some Eyes and Bass from my pier tonight if I have time.

Iā€™ve been on them for about a month now ;). A few dozen under my belt already but unfortunately the run is about over for this year, a lot of them have dropped back to the lake already. Not that it matters now when the Elk gauge is over 150 cfs haha. Sitting in my car right now waiting for this rain to stop, the Pike are hungry today!
