I can't wait till a 10-15lb. Brown gets landed in the lake....it's coming in a few years ...... guaranteed ..... I predict Chauncy will nail one on a Crappie rig !

Ha ha likely through the ice at that.

Hope he keeps it secrete cause when trout start getting roped from the lake, out pops the trout stamp.

If the trout feed on the shad buy the extended stamp now, cause in two years, the trout stamp is gonna double in price for Shenango. lol

A) Flood Control
B) Pleasure Boating and Jet Skis
C) Recreational Fishing


It wont get a trout stamp added

Docks are in until the end of this month and the water temps are dropping, time to get-r-done!!!!

I don’t fish much at that end of the lake or I might have caught one already.

My buddy caught a Brook Trout (12") in Shenango Lake years ago while we were fishing the east side off the shoreline. Had to come down from Little Shenango in Greenville about 15 miles away!
Another friend found a dead Brown Trout about 20" long lying dead on shore years ago.

So I'm out and about on Saranac Drive when passing over the reservoir and what to my eyes appear, but a red Lund Boat with two Hondas at the rear.

Twas 10:49 AM with the the air temps in the thirty's when I went by.

How were they biting Chauncy???
